Internship:                 Controls Engineer Internship
Duration:                    May – August 2018
Status:                       Temporary / Full Time
Business Unit:          Transonic Wind Tunnel Business Unit
Location:                   Buffalo, NY
 
Responsibilities:
This individual will work on smaller, controls / automation projects which support both direct and indirect projects. These projects will add capabilities to the wind tunnel test campaigns as well as improve operational efficiency. Examples of some past projects include PLC ladder logic implementation, motor control, PID loop tuning, and digital filtering.

Preferred Education:
  • Actively enrolled in a (4) year degree program from accredited college or university
  • (3) years of undergraduate work completed by May 2018
  • Engineering Major: Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, and/or Controls
Preferred Experience:
  • Hands-on background in Robotics
