Administrative Assistant Summary:  Provide administrative support to a team.  Responsibilities may include general clerical, receptionist and general project based work.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including CISS Sampling, obtaining medical records, maintaining spreadsheets, preparing and mailing correspondence, compiling the Monthly Progress Report. Prepare memos, letters, and other documents, using Word, Excel, corporate-provided databases, and/or presentational software. Update spreadsheets as requested.
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining record management systems, and performing basic clerical tasks. Prepare and submit invoices for payment by Calspan. Communicate with the PSU staff, Zone Center and/or the Buffalo office when problems or issues arise.
  • Assist with conducting interviews, locating vehicles and supporting team technical activities as requested.
  • Attend and participate in annual technical meeting, as assigned.
Preferred Education / Experience:
  • Associates degree in related discipline
  • 1+ years in related discipline or;
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
Preferred Knowledge / Ability:
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong time management skills
  • Abiltiy to multi-task with fluctuating priorities
  • Flexibility with changing work assignments
