Description for Mechanical Engineer: 
  • Create two-dimensional and three-dimensional concept layouts of unique, one-off test fixtures and hardware
  • Support analysis of feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanical equipment systems.
  • Support the development of new applications and test procedures.
  • Support the development of technical documentation including engineering plans, requirements definition, test procedures, installation design plans and related technical reports. Maintain engineering drawings
  • Provide guidance to technicians in fabrication, installation and operations of mechanical and related equipment and systems.
Preferred Education / Experience:
  • Bachelors or Masters  in  Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years in Engineering or related discipline or;
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
Preferred Knowledge / Ability:
  • Strong analytical skills in the area of machine design and stress analysis
  • Proficient with CAD software; Autodesk Inventor or equivalent
  • Perform basic design, layout, test and evaluation of mechanical and electromechanical systems and components
  • Read and interpret engineering plans and specifications
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage  abstract and concrete variables
