We are looking for a full time Senior Manager, Marketing to support the organizations broad marketing needs across multiple business units.

Responsibilities for Senior Manager, Marketing:
  • In conjunction with the segment leaders develop, implement and measure comprehensive sales and marketing plans for the various businesses. Gain a thorough understanding of market dynamics and customer needs and pains to facilitate development and delivery of value based capabilities that differentiate Calspan in the eyes of the customer.
  • Provide the management team with marketing insights to understand what is happening inside and outside the company. Develop a reliable marketing research system.  Help Calspan connect with the customer to develop long-term profitable relationships that are value based. Develop and communicate value propositions.
  • Manage the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs. Prepare presentations, proposals and miscellaneous marketing collateral. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product/service knowledge. Provide financial analysis of sales campaigns and marketing activities.   Manage marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.  Participate in the development of new project proposals.   Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communication efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.
  • Strengthen the Calspan brand in the existing served markets and related categories and identify new product and service opportunities.
  • Integrate market research data with CRM system to create leads. Monitor and track marketing efforts of competitors including website activity, PR and ad campaigns. Develop and maintain the master list of trade shows/conferences and coordinate logistics for each.
Preferred Education / Experience for Marketing Manager:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience or;
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above 
Preferred Knowledge / Ability for Marketing Manager:
  • Adept at creating content marketing strategy (value-added content that is published via Social media, website and other electronic outlets that proactively drives qualified leads}
  • Experienced at Web development/updates
  • Exceptional communicator who can work across the organization and directly with the BU's to produce Marketing campaigns
  • Researching/analyzing market trends and executing plans that drive qualified leads
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal abilities and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
